What are the basic skills of roller skating

The basic skills of roller skating are more important than the fancy movements. As long as the basic skills are practiced enough and the basic steps are combined with the use of internal and external blades, most of the movements can be basically completed! But when practicing basic skills, we must grasp two points: stability and liveliness! Practice stability first, then practice life! The following is a compilation of skills for beginners of roller skating, hoping to help you!

Stability is the control of the center of gravity, which is reflected in several joints: neck joint, hip joint, knee joint and ankle joint. As long as these joints are well controlled and coordinated, the problem will be solved! The specific training methods are as follows:

1. Single leg straight forward sliding

After the initial speed of forward sliding is achieved, put your hands behind your back, bend your upper body to an angle of 60 degrees with the horizontal, and bend your knee joint to an angle of 60 degrees with the horizontal. Use one foot of the support foot to move forward, and place the other foot behind the support foot in a horizontal manner. Touch the ground with one foot of the front foot and look ahead. To do this, you need to lean forward slightly and place your weight on the rear wheel of the support foot. The mark of completion is to be able to keep this position for more than 40 meters.

2. Single leg straight backward gliding

It is similar to forward sliding, but here you need to lean back and lift the non support feet forward to maintain.

3. Lateral straight sliding

Basic skills are commonly referred to as the basic skills of crab step exercise. The heels of two feet are opposite to the heels, forming a figure of eight. At the beginning, it needs to be at a certain angle. Then, one foot slides to the other side with extra force, and keeps the direction finding sliding. After the speed drops to zero, the other foot applies force from the opposite direction, and then keeps sliding. In this way, the half arc can be kept sliding. Once you find the feeling of measuring, you can slide in a straight line. When you slide in a straight line, it is very similar to the horse stance in martial arts, but, The horse stance here needs two feet in one line instead of standing in the right direction. At the same time, the eyes need to look at the direction of progress.

4. Draw eight characters

Drawing eight characters is a good way to control the stability of the inner and outer edges. First, accelerate, then place the two feet forward and backward, with the toes pointing towards the heels, forming a straight line. The action of the hands is allowed by the traffic police. The hands point horizontally in the same direction to drive the feet through the rotation of the upper body, and slide the arc. Alternate use of the inside and outside of the feet can achieve the "eight lines" of sliding. The feeling here is very similar to the kind of free movement in Tai Chi. The upper body rotation is free movement, while the foot movement is form movement. In this way, you can stretch and exercise stability.
